Our Story
Originally from Pennsylvania, Joe learned how to operate heavy equipment and drive a dump truck from his dad. When Joe moved to Orlando in the mid 1980s, he went to work for an excavating company. In 1988, Joe decided to start his own excavating company with one dump truck and one backhoe. Thirty six years later, Joe McGrady Excavating, Inc. is still going strong.

His wife, Pam, worked in the pool industry prior to meeting Joe. In fact, Joe was the excavator for the company where she worked. Pam received her commercial pool license in 2003. Married now for 33 years, Pam and Joe have worked together since 1989.

Now their children, Jenn and Joe, have joined the family business. After completing their degrees, they decided to come back home and work with Pam and Joe. Joe Jr. works in the field and Jenn manages the office. They are both a great team!
